Welcome To Hummel’s Hikes

We are Ron and Denise Hummel. This is a journal about our hiking adventures as we explore the outdoors and capture images of our hikes. There are hikes for all skill levels as well as some history of the areas and trails.

The rewards of climbing to a mountain summit include the physical challenge of overcoming obstacles, the mental satisfaction of pushing our limits, the sense of accomplishment upon reaching the summit, the beauty of the natural environment, the opportunity for personal growth and the camaraderie of hiking with others.

Our hope is to encourage everyone to explore the outdoors, try something you haven't done before. Along the way you will see beautiful waterfalls, scenic views and nature at its best. Take a look at the places we have been and the images in our galleries.
